A Playlist for the Dead

February 12, 2014
What I'll be in a matter of weeks.

What I’ll be in a matter of weeks.

I’ve had my share of gross viruses this year. I had what I thought was the flu in early January and last week, I came down with a really sexy chest cold that’s transformed into some type of terrible fever-y shiver fest. Since I’ve been sick for about a full month of 2014, I’ve been contemplating my demise. Now, I know that these measly viruses will not bring down my strong, lady-like body. No, sir! But the way I feel right now does make me wonder if I’ve got at least one toe already in the ground. Thus, I present to you my Funeral Playlist. Because — you guessed it — you can’t spell funeral without FUN. Ha, card.

Brian Eno, “Baby’s On Fire”
